At US Crane and Hoist, Inc., we are fully qualified, legally certified and eager to serve you! (see Our Credentials ...)

Our equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and we are commited to safety standards in all production process and training operations.

The goal of US Crane and Hoist, Inc.'s quality system is to ensure that our product conforms to the specified requirements of our customers, using standards of construction as recognized by, but not limited to, the following agencies:

  AISC - American Institute of Steel Construction
  ANSI – American National Standards Institute
  ASCE – American Society of Civil Engineers
  ASTM – American Society of Testing Materials
  AWS – American Welding Society

  ETL – ETL Trademark of Intertech Testing Services (electrical)
  HMI – Hoist Manufacturer’s Institute

  UBC – Uniform Building Code, with Oregon amendments
  UL – Underwriters Laboratories
     
  Additionally:
  1. All steel will require mill certifications
  2. Certified Welders as outlined by the American Welding Society will perform welding.
  3. All welds will be stamped by person performing weld and by Quality Control Inspector upon approved inspection.
  4. All holes will be drilled with roto-broach type drill or punched in Ironworker. No burned holes are allowed.
  5. Layout will be approved for drilling by Quality Control Inspector before holes are drilled or punched before beams are cut and brackets are welded, etc
  6. All electrical work will completed in-house by personnel under the direct supervision of a Journeyman Electrician. Only Journeyman Electrician will perform all wiring completed outside of the shop.
  7. Upon completion of crane and final paint, a performance test will be completed and documented on Quality Control Checklist.
  8. The crane will be painted to customer’s specifications with Quality Control Personnel documenting its completion.
